I am an older sister, the first in my family to go college, and from San Diego, CA. I love writing poetry and organizing events where people can network and build community.

I became a college coach because it has always been important for me to ensure students like me feel supported in every aspect of their life, whether they decided to go to college or not.

I know what it’s like to feel like you have no one to seek advice or help from, and now that I have finished college, I want to ensure students like me have someone to talk to when they need to. 

A piece of advice I have for you as you begin this journey is to always remember that you are exactly where you are meant to be. Don’t compare yourself to where someone else is at; rather, accept and grow from where you are at.

I am so excited for your college journey and all that is to come for you. Whether that is determining whether college is for you or what major to pick when you enter college, I hope you understand all those questions are valid. You are valid.
