a few things about me

I am Liberian born, Georgia raised. Most of my life values and practices revolve around culture and familial history.

I like to explore in nature—I like long walks in the park after dark. I enjoy going on hikes and chasing waterfalls. I also love being a coach!

I am passionate about education and breaking cycles of oppression in the communities that surround me. I love changing mindsets and creating new perspectives.

I have both a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kennesaw State University and a masters in higher education administration from Georgia Southern so I spent A LOT of years in school!

I’m excited to help you navigate your college journey. I hope this academic year will be an amazing one for you.

put yourself out there

My journey to coaching started because when I was in college I needed a coach myself. Navigating the twists and turns of college can be a lot!

Having a support partner can change your whole experience. I can’t imagine how valuable a coach would have been on my journey. Now you are on your college journey and I am excited to be walking with you!

College is a rollercoaster: there are some hard times but lots of highs and excitement.

Remember that college is about relationships. You’ll really learn the truth of the old saying that “it’s not what you know but who you know.” One piece of advice that I got in college that made my experience better was to get involved! There are so many things that you can do on your campus (even virtually!)

Try new things. Take advantage of all opportunities. Find your people and flourish with them.
