Make a game plan for finals and you’ll have blue skies ahead.
1
review the big picture
Start by checking out your overall finals schedule:
- What assignments do you have coming up? What kinds are they—papers, tests, projects?
- When are your deadlines? Are there any times when you have multiple assignments due over one 24- or 48-hour period? Those will require extra advance planning.
- Need to cancel/reschedule work or other appointments?
2
get tactical
Now drill a little deeper into your schedule. You’re going to want to sort out your plans before the stress hits hard.
What will you study? When? With whom? Where?
Stuff happens! Be flexible. Have a Plan B—and even a plan C!—so you can react well to anything that comes up.
3
tap into your support network
Now’s the time to line up all the resources you can:
- contact professors & get your questions answered
- make appointments with tutors/coaches
- get virtual study dates on the calendar
- swap proofreading with friends
4
rest up & stay healthy!
You can only do your best if you feel your best!
Feed your brain and body what it needs to succeed. Good rest, good food, exercise—whatever gives you strength and helps you unwind.
