Getting through the term is a major accomplishment, one that should be recognized!
Take a few minutes to reflect on and celebrate all you’ve achieved. To jog your memory, ask:
- when’s a time you nailed it—when you felt inspired by or proud of yourself?
- what was a pleasant surprise—something unexpected that turned out to be amazing?
- what’s a challenge you faced that taught you a valuable lesson or skill?
- did you discover anything—people, places, activities—that now you can’t imagine living without?
- what skills did you grow—about handling stress, budgeting, studying, etc.?
- what did you learn about yourself that you didn’t know this time last year?
Once you’ve gathered your memories, make sure to celebrate! You’ve earned it.
