meet coach Sandra

“The finish line looks different for everyone.”

1
about me

I’m a proud first-generation college graduate and an immigrant from Mexico. I was raised in Smyrna, Georgia, and earned my Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Kennesaw State University.

My personal interests span from ziplining and hiking to reading books and attempting to knit. When I need to destress, I turn to TikTok, reading, or going for a jog.

2
why I’m a college coach

I’ve always loved to be a resource to others. After navigating through college alone for so many years, I want to share all that I learned with others and I don’t want them to feel alone in this journey.

Having a coach to me is similar to having a mentor who’s already “been there.” As a coach I want to serve as a resource for my students and be a person who can support my students both academically and personally.

Students who have a coach know for a fact that they have someone on their team, 100%. We won’t judge your struggle or your plans and we will encourage and support you every step of the way.

my advice

Remember that finishing college isn’t a race between you and your peers. It’s a race with yourself and the end goal is to finish, regardless of how long it may take. Making the commitment to stick to it, no matter how hard it gets. The finish line looks different for everyone.
